An online magazine for web designers “A List Apart” included all people who anyhow contribute to website creation in a term “web designer”. And I can’t agree more, as any of the participants design their own aspects of website and influence overall user experience.

Copyright and bandwidth theft

Here we go! The site of Crew 12, the part of which I am, has been lunched and now it is just a total pleasure to look at statistics of my portfolio. Anton helped me and installed BBClone statistics system on my photo-woman.com and now it’s so interesting to follow my visitors. I actually see what pages they visit and how long they stay at each page, so I can analyze and understand what they are looking for or what was interesting for them.

Also statistics provided by my hosting server revealed several referrers to my site that were really surprising. Anton searched in log files and we found one friendster and one myspace account which used my picture as a background for their profiles. So that of course made me flattered =) But c’mon people, if you want to use my picture – I don’t mind, but at least save it and put it somewhere on your server or any free service for uploading images, there are tons of them. Please, don’t confuse my statistics and me with your referrers. And stop stealing my bandwidth! …
